Shelter Operations

In Wake County, Wake County Human Services will open shelters at high schools as needed. Wake Interfaith Disaster Team has agreed to provide lay counselors (graduates of Psychological First Aid) to help staff the shelters.

• Alert all graduates prior to the event if possible.
• Notify graduates as to the method to be used for work notifications and shift reservations.
